Congratulations Bernard Stamm !
Bernard Stamm on Cheminée Poujoulat won the Velux 5 Oceans Race. Two times in a row! This time, B. Stamm led the race from the beginning to the end, winning the 3 legs and finishing the race 14 days before the second skipper.
B. Stamm had chosen Karver for his furling hooks. Tested for the first time in extreme conditions and around the World, the new Karver furling hooks entered the offshore racing world with a success.
Next steps on the Calais Round Britain Race, the Barcelona World Race and the Vendée Globe.

After being second at the Massilia Cup 2007, 36.7 Alcidia scored again in Marseille. The First 36.7 fully equipped by Karver was ranked 5th out of 17 of the ORC2 class at the 42nd SNIM.
Karver team members were sailing on the Mediterranean sea. Pierre with a Figaro Bénéteau, 10th out of 26 of the ORC4 class; and Nicolas with a Melges 24 and the youngest crew of the race.
These two boats are equipped with Karver K-Blocks.

The Sun Fast 36 Sealogis Pen Run VI, leaded by G. Blossier, ranked 2nd of the IRC3 class.
Pen Ru was the first mass-production boat fully equipped with Karver products.
More and more present on one design boats, Karver K-Blocks have been seen on J80 and 747OD.
Easter weekend full of yachting for Karver. The company confirmed its products adaptability on all types of boats.
Karver members are always present in these events to test Karver products, to listen to the users and to live their passion for sailing.

Tanguy de Lamotte, naval architect and navigator is working in collaboration with Karver since the earliest stage of the company. His architect and navigator experiences have been added to Karver's know-how and allowed the fast development of innovating and high-performance products.
After excellent results on the mini circuit, with a 6,50m prototype designed and built by Tanguy himself, the skipper now get in to the Class 40' circuit.
Tanguy is associated with Simon Rogers for the conception of the boat. Tanguy and Karver are naturally together on the road again , the new Class 40' will be equipped with K-Furlers and K-Blocks.

Karver becomes Benoît Lequin and Pierre-Yves Moreau partner for their Atlantic Record Breaking project on a 20' catamaran.
Karver provides blocks and furlers for the new boat, designed for this challenge.

Issued from a long R&D program on the Volvo ocean race boats, the KBTi block range (low friction - high load) are 60 to 70% lighter than other blocks on the market for the same working loads!!!
Under very high loads the lashing through the center is a big safety factor in case of over loading...
Range of blocks between 2,5t and 12t safe working loads.
